Personal Tax Associate – Edinburgh

Valeco Recruitment is proud to be partnering with a dynamic and growing accountancy firm to recruit an experienced Personal Tax Associate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparing personal tax computations and submitting returns to HMRC

  • Managing your own portfolio of personal tax clients

  • Coordinating tax payments, capital allowances, and relief claims

  • Identifying tax planning opportunities

  • Supporting client onboarding and proposal preparation

  • Liaising with HMRC and internal teams

  • Staying up-to-date with technical tax knowledge

  • Ensuring organised document management and meeting deadlines

What We’re Looking For:

  • ATT qualified, with a minimum of 2 years' experience in a tax role

  • Strong technical tax knowledge and excellent attention to detail

  • Excellent communication skills and client relationship management

  • Organised, adaptable, and able to work independently and as part of a team

  • Solid IT skills and a proactive, client-focused attitude
